Weekly Photo Challenge: Time

Last year's cherry blossom (aka May blossom), taken with last year's camera. It has been long gone for 10 months now, after these petals tumbled to the floor in a blushing snowdrift. How differently will the blossom be that grows this year?

More pink, less focus.  Hmm…

This is my first weekly photo challenge from here, the theme was time.

I am still a bit new to all this photography stuff so feedback would be appreciated!

  1. Gorgeous! I love the pink ones 🙂 Maybe because there was more of a pop of colour and more even amounts of sky. The pink blossom photo is fuller and more pleasing to the eye – mine anyway 😉

    1. I agree but I thought the detail was more visible on the other. I can’t wait for the cherry blossom to bloom again this year!! It’s one of the many reasons why Easter is my favourite holiday and time of year!

      2. YES! I got my seed packs out last weekend and none of them can be planted for 2 entire months! 😦 I swear I do that every year in the last week of Jan! What veg do you grow?

      3. I usually buy the plants the same day I plant them, and last year was the first year I planted seeds directly in the garden – purple carrots – they were delicious. We’ve only had our community garden plot for 2 years and so far we have planted kale, onions, garlic, carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, cilantro, parsley, eggplant, zucchini, snow peas, green beans and cucumber, lettuce, hot peppers and sweet peppers.
This year I’d like to add beets and cabbage and tomatillos and spinach.
        What do you plant?

  3. I used to have a weeping cherry tree–it looked like it had snowed pink when the petals were spent. Go early, early in the morning for the shot, Jasmine. Last year I got up at 5 a.m. and drove 1 hour to the cherry blossom orchards and it began to rain, but I’m hoping for good shots, too, this year! Cheers!
