Hello lovelies hope you are all wrapped up warm and toasty this morning. I got up and looked out of the window, only to discover that all the car windscreens are frosty! Unfortunately, the sun is low in the sky but really strong so if there was any frost on the blades of grass, it has melted and they all just look soggy/damp. Hello, world, this is not photogenic! So instead of sharing beautiful landscape photographs, I’m going to will the postman to bring my new tripod sooner, and I’m dreading that moment in twenty minutes when I have to put my tea down, cast off my blanket and venture out into the freezing cold world and cycle to my work placement (we still don’t have a car).

Just had to Elsa me…
We’re having a mild fall, almost like an extension of early spring. No frost to scrape yet. That is subject to change at any time cos this place can go from 90 on Monday to 40 on Tuesday.
Cycling…Ick. I just ride my broomstick. š

We’re having unseasonally high temps here in Toronto. I’m kind of annoyed at that. I never know what to wear, and I’m not really good at the layering thing.

Wow sounds like you got all the good weather! I like layers when it’s cold. A layer of dressing gown, a layer of blanket, a layer of comforter/quilt/duvet, another layer of blanket… and a good thick layer of mattress underneath!

For sleeping, I love the chilled air and layering thing too, however for walking around and entering and exiting places, it’s a bit annoying to have to take off layers and then put them back on. I’m that weird woman with the thick fall coat and the flip flops š
