I am a thirtysomething lifestyle, mama and travel blogger who occasionally writes about other topics.
Within travel, for the first four years of this blog, I tended to write mostly about Europe as that was where I’d been. In 2017 I moved to China and became a digital nomad, and am currently based in Ireland.
As a writer, I have hit the USA Today bestseller list twice, I’ve written articles that are published in Offbeat Bride and on Buzzfeed, and as a photographer, I have taken photographs that are published in local and national news outlets in the UK.
MamaAdventure.com was re-registered with its current domain name in April 2020. Prior to this, the site was frequently getting about 3000-5000 hits a day, mostly from search engine traffic, but is currently suffering from loss of all its backlinks, something I’m currently working on.
‘Don’t sell crap’
– Steve Jobs, CEO and founder of Apple.
I currently work with Amazon because I strongly believe that they are the best at what they do, and they are professional to work with:
Amazon has a huge selection of products at highly competitive prices, so whatever I’m writing about, they generally have it at a good price. Legally I have to state the following: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.” MamaAdventure.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to http://www.amazon.com
Steve Jobs said “don’t sell crap” and I don’t. I have full control over the ultimate content of this site and I only recommend products where they have honestly done the thing I said they did. Unfortunately, I do very occasionally have to handle writing a negative review, but this is why my readers trust me.
Work with me:
I am currently in Ireland. If you are an Irish (north or south) travel, beauty or baby business looking to be written about, contact me on littlemisstorrie [at] gmail [dot] com and give me details of who your company is and what you want/are offering.
If I have already written about your business, you are welcome use the following badges to tell customers that you were featured on my site. Using badges and linking back to a website who reviewed you is a great way to build positive PR and customer trust (email me for larger versions of these):
Hearing crickets? I also work with businesses to help them improve their online presence and social media strategy (I don’t run accounts for people). Prices start at £500 for an in-depth online audit and strategy consultation. Please contact me for details.
I offer guest posting and sponsored posting to reputable people with sites in good standing at my discretion. If a post is sponsored/guest, this will always be disclosed in a byline, in accordance with ASA/NUJ rules. Please contact me at littlemisstorrie [at] gmail [dot] com to discuss business opportunities with your company name, your position, the remuneration package and any deadlines, requirements etc. Unfortunately, due to the volume of queries I get, I will usually only reply if your query fits with my blog. You are unlikely to get a response if you don’t tell me who you’re working for as I’ve found people who are cagey about this tend to be selling junk.
