I am a thirtysomething lifestyle, mama and travel blogger (formerly a beauty blogger) who occasionally writes about other topics. Within travel, for the first four years of this blog, I tended to write mostly about Europe as that was where I’d been. In 2017 I moved to China and got a lot of opportunities to travel with my job as a romance writer, so I started writing more about the rest of the world. As a writer, I have hit the USA Today bestseller list twice with my fiction, I’ve written articles that are published in Offbeat Bride and on Buzzfeed, and as a photographer, I have taken photographs that are published in local and national news outlets in the UK. I also have a Youtube channel that updates weekly.
‘Don’t sell crap’
– Steve Jobs, CEO and founder of Apple.
I currently work with Amazon, Booking and Villiers because I strongly believe that these companies are the best at what they do:
Amazon has a huge selection of products at highly competitive prices, so whatever I’m writing about, they generally have it at a good price. Legally I have to state the following: Delight and Inspire is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to http://www.amazon.com
Booking.com is a hotel search and booking listing site which I have been using for several years for my own hotel/guesthouse rooms before I considered working with them. I use them because they are a worldwide company with the best selection of good value accommodation and an excellent hotel reviewing system.
Villiers is a private charter jet company whom I recommend for chartered flights because they will get you to your destination if it’s possible, and when you’re planning a trip to somewhere out of the way, that’s generally what you need.
Steve Jobs said “don’t sell crap” and I don’t. I have full control over the ultimate content of this site and I only recommend products where they have honestly done the thing I said they did. Unfortunately, I do very occasionally have to handle writing a negative review, but this is why my readers trust me, so if you believe your service or product is great, I’m sure we won’t have any problems!
Please don’t embarrass yourself by cold-contacting me to work for you in exchange for nothing. I don’t accept unsolicited requests. In the words of my step-dad: “what did your last slave die of?” I will offer free link exchange (I post a link to your site if you post a link back to mine, no weird code or banners) or guest posting to reputable sites in good standing at my discretion.
Lots of Love,
