I am a thirtysomething lifestyle (especially applying science to everyday life), mama and travel blogger who occasionally writes about other topics.
Within travel, for the first four years of this blog, I tended to write mostly about Europe as that was where I’d been. In 2017 I moved to China and became a digital nomad, and am currently based in Northern Ireland to weather the pandemic.
As a writer, I have hit the USA Today bestseller list twice, I’ve written articles that are published in Offbeat Bride and on Buzzfeed, and as a photographer, I have taken photographs that are published in local and national news outlets in the UK. I also have a Youtube channel.
MamaAdventure.com was re-registered with its current domain name in April 2020. Prior to this, the site was frequently getting about 3000-5000 hits a day, mostly from search engine traffic, but is currently suffering from loss of all its backlinks, something I’m currently working on.
‘Don’t sell crap’
– Steve Jobs, CEO and founder of Apple.
I currently work with Amazon, Booking and Villiers because I strongly believe that these companies are the best at what they do, they are professional to work with:
Amazon has a huge selection of products at highly competitive prices, so whatever I’m writing about, they generally have it at a good price. Legally I have to state the following: MamaAdventure.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to http://www.amazon.com
Booking.com is a hotel search and booking listing site which I have been using for several years for my own hotel/guesthouse rooms before I considered working with them. I use them because they are a worldwide company with the best selection of good value accommodation and an excellent hotel reviewing system.
Villiers is a private charter jet company whom I recommend for chartered flights because they will get you to your destination if it’s possible, and when you’re planning a trip to somewhere out of the way, that’s generally what you need.
Steve Jobs said “don’t sell crap” and I don’t. I have full control over the ultimate content of this site and I only recommend products where they have honestly done the thing I said they did. Unfortunately, I do very occasionally have to handle writing a negative review, but this is why my readers trust me.
I offer free guest posting to reputable people with sites in good standing at my discretion. Please contact me at littlemisstorrie [at] gmail [dot] com to discuss business opportunities with your company name, your position, the remuneration package and any deadlines, requirements etc. Unfortunately, due to the volume of queries I get, I will usually only reply if your query fits with my blog.
Lots of Love,
